​WHAT IS A BACKPACKING TOUR?

Backpacking Tour, it is the type of tour that is different from any mainstream tours. Such tours offer deep exploration to the countries' cultures and required certain physical fitness to complete certain itinerary. For certain of my tours, participants do required to stay in for instance yurt or hostel or camping tents where daily amenities are limited. By this travel method, I believe it is best way to blend in with local people, cultures and to experience the best of a country that could offer. There is definitely no special privilege or babysitting services by the tour leader or anymore just because you’re a paying customer. Participants in all of my tours are treated as friends or travel buddies, we will be working hand in hand together throughout the whole journey. 

​IS RC WANDERLUST TOUR SUITABLE FOR YOU?

This question can be subjective where it varies from person to person. It is important to read and understand the T&C and all the details before signing up.  If you think that backpacking tour is suitable for you, then why not. It actually depends on the tour itself where some tour for instance Iceland will only require certain physical fitness to complete certain routes and some easy hikes. As for tours like Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan, basic amenities for instance electricity, phone signal can be very limited. Modern toilet or shower can be limited or even non-existent. Car breaking down and last minute change of itinerary is very common in some of the rural regions, it is important to stay positive, open minded, understanding and have self-independence skills all the time. Some of the tour will be covering mountainous areas where one might experience some altitude sickness, it is important to consult doctor before the tour starts.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

I designed all the tour itinerary based on my personal research and my previous travel experiences. My purpose is to show the best experience of the country or the regions that can offer. I am often impressed and amazed by the local cultures and breath-taking landscapes. Therefore, as you can see that most of my tours are mainly focus on beautiful landscapes and blend in with the locals.    

HOW CAN I SETTLE THE PAYMENT AND WHAT IS THE DEPOSIT ABOUT?

For the payment, normally I will first collect the deposit as a confirmation standard to join the tour. As for verbal confirmation through phone call or text messages will normally be ignored. As for the rest of the payment, it can be settled via instalment basis and has to be fully settled one month before the tour begin.
